1. POSTING POLICY

ba-acappella has more than 300 subscribers, which is an exciting network for us to have! Please be thoughtful about your postings since they'll go out to a lot of people.

Any group announcing a concert should make two complimentary tickets to the show available to ba-acappella if requested. These tickets are used to reward volunteers and to promote a cappella locally through giveaways.

When posting, please observe these rules: Postings should be about concerts, auditions, groups, and other subjects related to a cappella music in the Bay Area. Please do not post anything not relevant to the Bay Area.

Show announcements are a main topic of interest to the community. Please don't hesitate to post information about your show. Subscribers are all over the bay!

4. WHERE IS THE BA-ACAPPELLA WEB SITE?

http://www.baac.net

It has a subscription form and lots of great local a cappella resources, including a comprehensive list of Bay Area A Cappella groups and a list of local acapp-friendly venues.

If your group isn't listed in the web site's groups directory, let us know.

5. IS THERE A NATIONAL A CAPPELLA DISCUSSION? A GOOD GENERAL A CAPPELLA WEB SITE?

The Usenet newsgroup rec.music.a-cappella is a great national source of discussion. The Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA) is a great jumping off point for worldwide a cappella: www.casa.org.
